Meagan Picard, ICP Program Director

Meagan is a community engagement specialist who helps communities build understanding across differences and plan for brighter futures. In her 26 years of experience, Meagan has served state, regional, tribal, and local governments as well as community organizations in a dozen states spanning from Alaska to Texas. Meagan’s work is rooted in a passion for people, learning what’s most important to each individual and group, and discovering the possibilities that can emerge from meaningful engagement with one another.

Meagan earned her master’s in public administration from The Evergreen State College, and was recently honored with the Colorado Alliance Center’s Commit to Action Award in the field of Democracy. She resides in Fort Worth, TX, and in her spare time co-leads a passion project in support of people struggling with the effects of trauma.
